In 2022, as Canada emerged from the pandemic’s shadow, we embarked on a grand adventure, exploring the stunning landscapes of Alberta and British Columbia. From Calgary’s Weaselhead Flats to Drumheller’s badlands, Canmore’s picture-perfect scenes, and the hidden gems of Two Jack Lake and Lake Minnewanka, we were captivated by the beauty of the region.
Before our westward adventure, we dedicated the first part of the year to capturing the winter’s beauty in the Greater Toronto Area. We revisited Bruce County, discovering otherworldly scenes in familiar places, and explored new locations like Unionville’s TooGood Pond and Pickering’s Frenchman’s Bay, each offering a fresh perspective on the natural world.
The year also witnessed the rise and fall of the NFT craze in the art world. Our collection, “Hot Seat,” was released on the Solana blockchain marketplace, Solsea, but like many others, it was met with little fanfare.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding NFTs, 2022 felt almost normal, with the joy of travel returning. As we reflect on the year gone by, we are filled with gratitude for the moments we seized and the memories we created. Looking to the future, we remain optimistic, eager to continue exploring and capturing the essence of the world through our cameras.
